The holidays are finally here! Before you head out to enjoy the outdoors, you must look after your skin. The sun becomes harsher during this time of the year, making you prone to even more skin problems like hyper pigmentation. Follow these simple skincare tips from Corium and you’ll be good to go.
1. LIMIT YOUR TIME IN THE SUN
Prolonged sun exposure is one of the leading causes of skin illnesses. According to the Cancer Association of South Africa, prolonged sun exposure can increase your chances of getting skin cancer, regardless of your race or skin tone. The South African sun sizzles in December, so you want to make sure that you’re protected at all times. Yes, you’ll be tempted to get some vitamin D directly by laying either by the beach or your backyard, but trust us, you don’t want to do that for long periods. If you do, make sure you’re wearing protective clothing, like a wide-brim hat and a loose-fitting shirt.
2. SUNSCREEN IS A MUST
